Average: 3.3 (10 votes)
Follow Marc Lobliner as he prepares for Gold's Classic in Wilmington, NC in June. Video, photos, diets and more - see how Marc does it!

This is it. I am at home, done with traveling. For the past five months, I have been on the road every day but two total weeks beating the streets and trying to build Scivation. Despite the economic woahs felt by most, we have grown quite considerably this year. Regardless, five straight months of weekly travel and contest dieting hit me last week.

I have CANCELLED all of my trips until after my show (seven weeks) and will focus on getting everything together and being with my family. It was a combination of physical exhaustion (nine thousand miles in three weeks in my new Xtend Xterra), mental exhaustion (no down time six days per week, one day at home per week), and emotional exhaustion (I missed my family and it was taking a toll).

My show is the Gold's Classic in Wilmington, NC on June 13, 2009.I have decided to do a daily video journal with workouts, meals and thoughts. In this, you will see parts of my training as well as a daily video blog of my thoughts.

FINAL THOUGHT

My weight is 191 and I am ROLLING into the show! I am currently doing the following schedule:

My cardio changes as often as I deem necessary.

This is my current daily schedule:

  • 445am - 530am: 45 mins LI Cardio
  • 530am - 630am: weight training
  • 630am - 7am; HIIT cardio on treadmill with...
    • 4min LI warm up
    • 1min run at 9.0 alternate with 1min walk at 3.6 repeated 7 times
    • 3 min cool down
  • Evening: 1 hour LI cardio at 3.2 - 3.4 speed.

I just want shreds everywhere and sick a$$ veins. This is how it is done! Time to BRING IT! If I do well in this show, I will consider Jr. Nationals in 2010. Until the next installment, keep drinking your Xtend and keep working hard to reach your goals!
